After two weeks of voting, fans of Lostprophets have voted ‘Darkest Blue’ as the song that will be exclusively performed at this weekend’s Warped Tour UK show.
Lostprophets had teamed up with Teenage Cancer Trust to give fans the opportunity to vote for one of five songs that are rarely performed by the Welsh band. The vote took place over text with £1 from every text going to Teenage Cancer Trust.
‘Darkest Blue’ won the poll with 37% of the total vote. ‘A Million Miles’ came in second with 25%.
Lostprophets vocalist Ian Watkins made the following comment:
“’Darkest Blue’ has always been a favourite from ‘The Betrayed’, and we’re glad our fans agree. We’re excited to play it for the first time in years and even more so because it has contributed to the growth of Teenage Cancer Trust.”
Warped Tour UK takes place at London’s Alexandria Palace on Saturday 10th November.
