The organisers behind the Red Bull Studios Download Fesitval 2014 Unsigned competition have revealed details of a special prize.
One lucky band from the final eight will be selected by the Download Festival team will be given the opportunity to record a full EP with Romesh Dodangoda for a week at Red Bull Studios in London. They will also be awarded £5000’s worth of equipment from Fender.
The Download team will be looking for the band that puts on the best live performance and owns the Red Bull Studios Live Stage in true Download style.
Registration for the competition ends at 5pm (GMT) on April 21st. After that the top 100 bands will go through to the next round where they will be judged by a panel of leading industry experts.
The panel will select 15 bands to be put forward for a public vote, where the top 6 along with 2 industry-picked wild card bands being given the opportunity to play the Red Bull Stage at this years Download Festival.
