At the start of the year we promised you’d be hearing a lot about Roam in 2015 and we were right. After releasing their brilliant ‘Viewpoint’ (Hopeless Records) EP last month, the South Coast pop punks have been announced as the first headliners for Sheffield’s Empire Festival.

The Eastbourne based band will close out the second and final day at The Hop on Sunday May 17th. Their set will mark somewhat of a homecoming for the band as they have previously recorded at Sheffield’s Steel City Studios.

As previously announced the new pop punk, emo and grunge event will showcase some of the best up and coming talent the UK has to offer right now. Names such as Trash Boat, Six Time Champion, Scouts, For All The Wrong Reasons and Milestones are amongst the names confirmed.

Empire Festival will take place across 2 days in 2 different venues in Sheffield on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th May 2015. Weekend tickets are £10 and day tickets are £6. Tickets can be purchased here.
