With the football season kicking off, metalheads attending Bloodstock and much more happening over the coming days, it could be hard to forget what new releases are dropping today.

Nevertheless, we’ve got you covered as always, and even though this week’s list of releases looks small, there’s plenty of musical goodness to sink your teeth into.

The much talked about return of As It Is sees them offering a darker, thought-provoking side. While Foxing seamlessly blend various styles together with ‘Nearer My God’.

Elsewhere, Brighton’s Delta Sleep serves up a set up of delightful, straight-up math-rock with ‘Ghost City’. Boston trio Bad Rabbits return with a set of smooth and sexy songs with ‘Mimi’ and death metal “supergroup” Sinsaenum deliver their second album – ‘Repulsion For Humanity’.

There is also the infectious ‘Alright Already’ from Aussie soul-punk duo Polish Club and masked Japanese rockers Man With A Mission are ‘Chasing the Horizon’.
