Playlist: John Feldmann’s Finest Moments (As Chosen by State Champs)

To some John Feldmann is known as the frontman of 90s skate-punks Goldfinger. To others, he’s the man who has worked behind the board on a whole host of releases. blink-182, Good Charlotte, All Time Low, Sleeping With Sirens, The Used, Stick To Your Guns, Black Veil Brides, The Faim, One OK Rock, and most recently, State Champs, are just some of the bands where Feldmann has sprinkled his producing and songwriting magic on.

Even though Goldfinger hasn’t been too active in recent years, last summer saw them return with ‘The Knife’. Full of summery pop-punk and ska-punk cuts, it was a reminder of Feldmann’s abilities as a performer. It’s also no surprise that it saw Feldmann rope in some familiar faces; blink-182’s Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, MxPx‘s Mike Herrera, and Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots.

This weekend, Feldmann will be once again stepping in front of the mic as Goldfinger will be returning to the Slam Dunk Festival for the second year runnings.

For a quick history lesson of Feldmann‘s magic, we asked State Champs to pick out some of his best moments.
