In The News

Bring Me The Horizon will release ‘Live at the Royal Albert Hall’ on DVD on December 2nd. The DVD captures the band’s show at London’s Royal Albert Hall from this past April. All profit from the DVD will go to Teenage Cancer Trust.

Frank Iero and The Patience were involved in a serious traffic accident in Sydney, Australia. Two members of their crew are undergoing surgery, while Iero is physically ok.

Cloud Nothings will return on January 27th, 2017 with the release of a new album titled ‘Life Without Sound’ via Wichita Recordings.

London-based quartet VANT have confirmed their debut album, ‘Dumb Blood’, will be released on February 17th.

Canadian technical metal group Protest The Hero have announced details of their forthcoming ‘Pacific Myth’ EP. Set for release on November 18th, it will consist six tracks along with accompanying instrumental versions of each track, which were previously released via their Pacific Myth platform.

Punk quartet Vanishing Life have announced their debut album. ‘Surveillance’ will be released on November 11th via Dine Alone Records. The band includes members of Rise Against, Quicksand, …And You Will Know Us By The Trail Of Dead, Gorilla Biscuits and Bad Religion.

Alcoa and Choir Vandals will be releasing a split EP consisting of unreleased material. Alcoa will contribute a pair of B-sides from the sessions for 2015’s sophomore full-length, ‘Parlour Tricks’, while Choir Vandals provide two brand new songs.

French math rock band Totorro, have joined Big Scary Monsters. Their forthcoming album, ‘Come To Mexico’, is due for release next Friday (October 21st).

Cumbria alt-rockers Youth Salute have confirmed their new EP, ‘Carve’ will be released on October 28th via Spoken Records UK.

Midland emo group Jaded have announced they will release an EP titled ‘Under Autumn Shade’ through Adorno Records on October 25th.

Danish modern metal five-piece Aphyxion will release their new album, ‘Aftermath’ on 2nd December.

The King Blues have signed to Cooking Vinyl. The band are currently writing for their forthcoming new album due for release in early 2017.

Festival News

Belgium-based Indie punk label Bearded Punk Records has announced details of it’s first all-day festival. Bearded Punk Fest will take place at Jh Nootuitgang in Edegem on November 12th. The line-up includes several UK acts; Great Cynics, Happy Accidents, Doe, and Personal Best.

The first names for Germany’s Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals have been announced. It sees System of a Down as one of the headliners, with the likes of Beartooth, Motionless in White, Prophets of Rage, Sleeping With Sirens, Bastille and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis also confirmed for the festivals that take place from 2nd – 4th June in Nuremberg and Mendig respectively.
