Crown The Empire have parted ways with vocalist David Escamilla. He posted a separate statement here.

Avenged Sevenfold will be setting up a pop-up shop – Vlauder Lauders General Store – in London’s Camden from Friday 20th January until Monday 23rd. It will coincide with their two live dates at the 02 Arena. The shop will be based at Camden Market, 215-216 Chalk Farm Road, London, NW1 8AB, and open 10am – 6pm.

Bad Religion frontman Greg Graffin will be releasing a brand new solo album entitled Millport this March 10th via Anti-. Cheshire quartet Leatherneck have confirmed they will release a AA single, ‘Vincent / Pale Horse’, through Close to Home Records on January 27th. They will also be releasing a numbered, hand screen-printed discography tape in mid-late February on Split Ear Records. It will include ‘Vincent / Pale Horse’, the ‘Lighting Up The Tilt Sign’ EP as well as their ‘Monochrome/Derailed’ single.

New York duo Diet Cig have revealed their debut record, ‘Swear I’m Good At This’ will be released on April 7th via Frenchkiss Records.

Southampton pop-rock four-piece Faux will return with new material next month, when they release a new single called ‘Hot Headed’.

Corby metallers Raging Speedhorn have announced that co-vocalist Frank Regan will not be joining them on their upcoming UK run with Skindred or their appearance at HRH Metal, as he has been ordered by doctors to rest. Regan’s spot will be filled by RSJ vocalist Dan Cook. Sadly, the two March shows at The Black Heart are to be moved to later in the year.

Amsterdam-based metal band The Charm The Fury have announced that their new album, ‘The Sick, Dumb & Happy’, will be released on 17th March via Nuclear Blast / Arising Empire.

Festival News

The second wave of bands for this year’s Slam Dunk Festival has been made with nine new names announced: Beartooth, Tonight Alive, Against Me!, The Bronx, Goldfinger, Mad Caddies, The Movielife, Trophy Eyes, and Like Pacific.

Above the Waves Promotions and Failure by Design Records have announced the final bunch of bands, as well as the headliners, for So Punk Fest 3, which takes place from the 3rd to 5th February. The headliners include Muskets (Friday), Apologies, I Have None (Saturday), with a solo performance from Ducking Punches closing the festival on Sunday. The other additions are Cassels, itoldyouiwouldeatyou, The New Tusk, Honey Joy, Middle Distance and Catholic Girls.

Leeds based Ritual Festival have announced the final four band’s for this year’s festival – Anaal Nathrakh, Bossk, Unfathomable Ruination and Kurokuma.
