This week New Jersey Pop-Punk band I Call Fives released their début self-titled album on Pure Noise Records. On ‘I Call Fives’ the quartet firmly establish themselves as one of the most promising up and coming pop punk bands.

With plenty of hooks and sing-a-long moments, I Call Fives have all the makings of a great pop punk band and are bound to create a buzz in the coming months.

Bassist Drew Conte recently spoke to Already Heard to take part in our “If I…" questionnaire.

If I could re-record one song it would be…
Drew Conte: ‘Hand Me Down Luck’ off ‘Bad Advice.’ I hate the chorus.

If I could re-live one tour/show it would be…
DC: The ‘Bad Advice’ record release show in May of 2010 with With The Punches, The Crosstown Rivalry, and Bright & Early. It was probably the most fun show I’ve ever been apart of.

If I had the chance to play one venue it would be…
DC: The House of Blues in Atlantic City. I’m positive I’d be drunk and broke by nights end…or CBGB’s.

If I could play with one band it would be…
DC: Blink-182.

If I could play with any person living or dead it would be…
DC: Jimi Hendrix. Shit would get weird.

If I could bring back any band that have split up, it would be…
DC: Acceptance.

If I wasn’t playing music, I would be…
DC: I guess I’d of finished college and gotten a real job. I work at the Trocadero, an awesome venue in Philly now, so I guess I’d stay there for a little while if the band ended tomorrow.

If I could play a different genre it would be…
DC: My next band will be a No Warning rip off band.

If I could have written any song it would be…
DC: ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’ by Scorpions.

If I could have written any album it would be…
DC: ‘Deja Entendu’ by Brand New.

If I could headline any festival, it would be…
DC: Headlining Warped would be something.

If I could organise my own festival, the bands playing would be…
DC: Boner Fest 2013. Blink-182, Puddle of Mudd, New Found Glory, Linkin Park are the headliners.

If I could play any other instrument, it would be…
DC: I’d love to play the piano. I want to sit down and learn it some day.
