Download Festival Preview: H.E.A.T.

As the road to Download Festival becomes shorter by the day, we will be speaking to a whole host of acts from this years festival about what to expect from them at Download 2015.

If you’ve watched Sweden’s rock sensations H.E.A.T. recent ‘Live In London’ release, then you will know that this quintet can deliver a memorable and energetic show.

Last time these hard rockers were at Download, they were on the initimate Red Bull Bedroom Jam Stage. This time round they’ve made the step up to the Pepsi Max Encore stage where they will be playing alongside Enter Shikari, Lamb of God and In Flames. As they prepare to return to Download, we spoke to drummer Crash about their appearance.

AH: Why should fans check you out at Download?
Crash: It’s a proper and playful rock show. You’re gonna have a good time with us!

AH: What can we expect from your set?
Crash: A taste of real H.E.A.T. The set for Download is shortened. The headline show we usually play is one and a half hour long. There might also be stage diving.

AH: What other bands are you looking forward to seeing?
Crash: Since we’re arriving Saturday, A Day to Remember, Muse, and Enter Shikari.

AH: What are your memories of previous Download Festivals?
Crash: The first time we played, The Pretty Reckless did an awesome show and they mentioned that their favorite show of all time was AC/DC live at Donington, so the band was so honored to play at the festival.

AH: What advice would you give to people attending Download Festival?
Crash: Don’t miss H.E.A.T, go and see what the fuss is about and you won’t be disappointed!
