Download Festival Preview: Fearless Vampire Killers

As the road to the Download Festival becomes shorter by the day, we will be speaking to a whole host of acts from this years festival about what to expect from them at Download 2015.

After making their Download debut two years ago, Fearless Vampire Killers have skyrocketed and their popularity seems to be growing by the day. Their arrive at Download 2015 on a wave of momentum having appeared at Takedown and Camden Rocks already this year.

They’re playing the Zippo Encore stage on Friday afternoon, and Kier Kemp from the band promises it to be a special set…

AH: Why should fans check you out at Download?
Kier: We have a new cover song to play and it fucking rules!

AH: What can we expect from your set?
FVK but bigger and better. We have a little extra production and are bringing our A game. Sing-along central!

AH: What other bands are you looking forward to seeing?
Kier: MATE! Loads. Manson, Muse, Slipknot, BVB, Andrew WK. I’m ready to party.

AH: What are your memories of previous Download Festivals?
Kier: When we played our first time. We were main support on the smallest stage and it was full of our fans. That shit is life changing. This year we’re second stage!

AH: What advice would you give to people attending Download Festival?
Kier: Wet Wipes, loads of booze, wellies and don’t be precious!

AH: Do you have anything else you’d like to say?
Kier: Come and see us play!!! I’m excited!!

Fearless Vampire Killers will be appearing on the Zippo Encore Stage at 1:55pm on Friday June 12th.
