As part of Record Store Day 2013, Basick Records have announced four vinyl releases that will be strictly limited to 500 copies of each title and available through independent record stores.
The releases are:
Chimp Spanner – At The Dream’s Edge
Uneven Structure – Februus
Skyharbor – Blinding White Noise
The Algorithm – Polymorphic Code.
Basick Records’ Nathan Phillips made the following comment:
“It’s great to be involved in this year’s Record Store Day, which is a hugely important date in the industry calendar. As a fan of not only the medium of vinyl, but also of independent record stores, it’s incredibly exciting for our label to be able to help raise awareness of their plight. Everyone over a certain age remembers the wonderful experience of walking into a record shop and delving headfirst into racks of vinyl, to unearth a gem and it’s something that the next generation of record buyers should be able to experience for themselves.”
