Axes Premier Interactive Video for ‘The One’

At the end of 2014 we included ‘Glory’, the latest album from London math-rockers Axes, as one of our records of the year. Having produced such a crucially acclaimed album, the quartet today premiered their new video for ‘The One’.

Unlike most videos, the band have produced an interactive video that allows fans to select 1 of 4 channels; each representing a band member. You can experience the interactive video here or by clicking read more.

Axes made the following comment about the video.

“An analogy for the chaotic and interconnecting way we all come together to make music. It shows each of us experiencing a massive party at the same time and location but from 4 different perspectives, as though taking place in separate ‘parallel math rock universes’.”

In addition to the release of the video for ‘The One’, Axes will be playing a handful of UK (and 1 Spanish) shows in March.

March
Sun 8th Hoxton Square Bar & Kitchen, London (with Cleft + Alpha Male Tea Party)
Thu 12th The Hope, Brighton
Fri 13th Aloud Music Festival, Barcelona
Sat 14th The Hop, Wakefield
